The new release to the classic Everquest; Everquest 2 dominates in world and combat graphics compared to LOTRO but is closely followed by Vanguard for World graphics. If you liked EQ1 you will love EQ2. It's like EQ1 with all of the bugs and exploits fixed and more user friendly. This is a time-consuming advanced player MMORPG very similiar to Everquest but with improvements so don't be dissapointed if you can't get on a flightpath and quests require you to use your brain and time to complete.

Achievement Points
Classes are given achievement points at level 10 which are gained by killing bosses, finishing quests, and doing collections. Achievement points can help further the abilities of your class and help you specialize in a single area. Almost every class in Everquest 2 can solo to some degree. There will be achievement point guides and other guides available in the future on this site.
Everquest II Quest Log
The Everquest 2 quest log can hold up to 75 quests which means you won't have to pick and choose with quests you are going to do in EQ and which ones you are going to abandon. Quest guides will be available to help you finish quests in a timely manner and to save time by making questing more efficient. When attemping some of the bigger quests it is recommended you follow a quest guide in order to complete all the steps correctly. If you have a quest guide you would like to submit for Everquest II, please email your guide to thebusdriver@thenoobschool.com
Soloing in Everquest 2
Soloing is by far more friendly than EQ1 (and actually possible without being a pet class) but is still quite hard. Any class in EQ2 can solo because out of combat recovery time is not retarded like EQ1 was. Still, at level 19 with my Shadowknight he is unable to take on 2 Heroic mobs of level 13 which makes it very difficult for him to obtain anything other than normal quest gear (can't fight the bosses). Having said that, grouping and the traditional Healer / Tank 2 boxing is still the preferred method to get rich in Everquest 2.
